FAQ & TIPS
What is the ideal temperature should I be using for my Blue River PAX Pods?
We recommend 520f vs 610F (Era Device Pre-Set). PAX Era Devices out of the box are programmed to 610F and MUST be adjusted prior to using the Blue River PODs. If you do not change the tempature of the POD the cannabis oil may leak and affect the flavor experience.
I do NOT have a smartphone so how do I adjust the POD manually?
1. Insert the POD into the PAX Era Device and make sure it clicks in all the way.
2. Shake the device to check X logo for charge.
3. Pull POD out from the PAX Era Device.
4. Patiently wait as each line in th X logo starts to light up one at a time.
5. Quickly reinsert POD when the 1st green line in the X logo lights up.
1st Bar Green of the X logo = 520F
2nd Bar Yellow of the X logo = 610F
How should I store my Blue River PAX Pods?
We recommend standing the POD up on a counter or table overnight to allow all the oil to fill back up around the wicking system when not in use. Sometimes the oil will shift into the PODs "head" when not being used so you always want to make sure you allow the oil to fill back up on both sides of wicking system. Amazon sells POD holders that make it easy to store and leave in the standing up position on the counter or in a travel bag. AMAZON
Is it normal for the oil to sometimes get slightly "clogged"?
If you are pulling and you do not hear air pulling thru the side holes on the device the oil may be a little sticky in the wick system. This creates a temporary "clog" and can happen from time to time when using a pod with a low battery, low temp vaping, very cold weather, or without use for long periods of time. You can relieve the clog by increasing tempature to 520f or 610f while pulling harder until the wick warms up. After the wick is cleared adjust tempature back to 520f.
My POD is not responding at all what is wrong?
We suggest making sure the PAX Era device is fully charged or had at least 2 bars of the X logo on when you shake the device. If you only see 1 bar of the X logo this could mean the batter is only holding a charge from 0% - 25%. The PAX Era Device will flash Red when it is completely dead. Please make sure the POD has oil on both sides of the wick or at least one side of the POD. If the oil is in the "head", or only on one side, try standing up the POD for an hour to allow for the oil to cover both sides of the wick. If you see oil below the fill line on the sides of the POD your oil may have leaked out from the upper chamber into the lower chamber. This can happen from dropping the device on the corner of the POD, air travel, over heating, or manufactured defect. If you have a manufactured defect you are entilted to a new POD at no additional charge from the retail location of purchase. The POD has a fail rate of about 1.5%, which is very low compared to 510 tanks, but this can happen in the manufacturing of the POD device itself. If this has happened to you we do apologize, and we will replace the POD at the retail outlet at no cost.
